SERVICE POLICY

Rotary is dedicated to providing outstanding service for our members and communities. Rotary is a worldwide volunteer network that strives to create lasting change and make a positive difference in the world.

The following service policy has been established to ensure that we provide the best service possible.

  1. We will continue to strive for excellence in all we do. We will always strive to make a difference whether we’re organizing a cleanup in your community, fundraising for a school, or helping a disaster-stricken region.
  2. We will respond quickly to any requests or concerns. We will try our best to fulfill any need that a member of the community or group has.
  3. All of our actions, and all decision-making processes, will be transparent. We believe in transparency and will be open with our members and the communities that we serve.
  4. We will be held accountable for the results of our actions. We take our responsibility as a global volunteer network very seriously. We will always track and measure the impacts of our work.
  5. We will be flexible to adapt to changes in circumstances and needs. We know that needs and communities can change quickly. Therefore, our team will always be prepared to adapt to meet those changes.
  6. We will treat members and communities with respect and be inclusive in all interactions. We believe in treating every person with dignity, and respect, and will strive to make our communities welcoming and inclusive.
  7. We will continue to learn and improve. We believe in being current with best practices and innovative ways of service and will continue to seek out new ways to improve our work.

These core service principles are not the only thing we believe in. We also believe strongly in the power return service. We recognize that our global volunteer network creates ripple effects and that we must give back to those communities that have supported us.

To meet this commitment, we offer several return service opportunities to our members.

  1. Volunteers who directly benefit the local community. We’re committed to giving back to those communities that have supported and encouraged us, whether it’s by organizing a beach clean-up, building a playground, or supporting a school.
  2. Training and educational opportunities for members of the community. We believe that education has the potential to transform lives. Therefore, we offer a range of educational and training opportunities for community members to learn new skills.
  3. Support for local entrepreneurs and businesses. We know that small businesses and entrepreneurs are vital to communities. Through a variety of programs and initiatives, we will support and promote entrepreneurs in our local communities.
  4. Partnerships with agencies and other organizations. We understand that we can’t solve all problems by ourselves, so we work with other agencies and organizations to create partnerships to maximize our impact.

Our service policy is focused on our commitment to lasting change and positive social impact. We are open-minded, responsive, transparent, accountable, and flexible. We also believe that return service is a powerful tool and are determined to give back to those who have supported us. We hope to inspire others by living these values and helping them in their mission to create a better world.
